"What keeps me coming back to Divya is her compassionate and caring approach to medicine. She starts every session by listening to my concerns and assessing my mobility. Then, she explains to me what has happened. She tells me what is causing the particular problem and the relationship of that with the rest of my body. This way I feel that my body is no longer a mystery and I can take actions to consciously improve my physical condition. Each visit, when my condition has improved, she adds exercises that build on the ones she previously taught me so I can get stronger. Her goal is always to get you on with your life, so you are able to feel healthy, pain free and happy.
Unlike other places where I’ve gotten physical therapy, Divya always provides great flexibility and availability. And unlike my experiences before, coming to Divya for physical therapy is never an annoying chore that I want to get off the way. With Divya, I truly enjoy coming to my PT sessions, and every time I leave the place happier than I arrived. It's truly magical what caring can do to medicine!"

"I started experiencing shoulder pain a little over a year before seeing Divya for the first time. Back pain and neck/shoulder tightness have been chronic issues for me as an adult, and pain in my right shoulder flared up badly during a move. It continued with a varying degree of severity throughout the year - impacting my yoga practice, my ability to do any weight bearing workouts with my arms, and my ability to do daily things like lift a purse or a grocery bag. Seeing Divya regularly for a span of 3 months helped me regain strength and mobility in my shoulder, and also helped with general back/neck/shoulder issues. Divya was great about communicating with my personal trainer and also a massage therapist (who she recommended, and with whom I did body work a couple of times) to ensure that everyone was aware of my evolving diagnosis, working towards common goals, and avoiding anything that might cause a setback. I’m now back to yoga, and able to do any workout I want (Barre, Spin, HIIT, etc.) without any shoulder pain. I have the tools to continue my PT practice at home, with Divya’s recommendations on what to focus on daily and a longer routine to do a couple times a week. Divya also helped me gain an awareness of how I’m doing exercises and also just simple things in my daily life (from the way I pick things up to the way that I sleep), so that I’m able to make improvements that protect my shoulder(s) no matter what I’m doing to prevent a future injury. I highly recommend Divya, so much so that I recently referred my mom to see her! :)"

I have alway tried to be active with outdoor activities, sports and lifting.
About 8 months ago I tore my ACL and meniscus while playing soccer.
I underwent surgery and started seeing Divya for post-op physiotherapy treatments.
Divya has a thorough understanding of the human physiology and helped me find all the answers to my questions related to swelling, tightness and mobility. She helped me gain quad muscle strength and symmetrical extension and flexion on the injured leg. Moreover, she worked closely with a fantastic trainer she recommended to stay on top of my progress. Divya made sure my surgeon was also informed about my progress and had a set of questions ready for me to ask them whenever I went to visit them. Divya, also helped me gain mobility with my tight shoulder and upper back which was caused due to years of lifting. I would definitely recommend Divya and her team to help you through your pain and reach your physical goals.
